#美股2026展望 After seven years of navigating the crypto market, the one thing I want to say is: Don't think about getting rich quick, think about how to survive first.

I've seen too many people holding "I've made a profit once" as a badge of honor. And then? Three months later, they're still asking in the group, "Can I break even by bottom fishing?" Profits that can't be held onto are just numbers that stayed in your account for a night.

Someone asked me what the core ability of trading is? It's not about catching the next big thing, it's about controlling drawdowns. If your account loses 50%, you need to earn 100% to get back to square one—this is elementary math, but 90% of people will forget it in practice. Making a profit occasionally is not a skill; locking in profits and enduring pullbacks is the dividing line. Every time the market turns, you can see clearly who is truly trading and who is gambling on luck.

System vulnerabilities are not scary; what is scary is the refusal to acknowledge them. Blaming "poor market conditions" for an uncontrollable pullback? That is self-deception.

The hardest barrier is never the technical aspect, but the human nature aspect. Chasing trends, fearing to miss out, and comforting oneself with "long-term value investing" when stuck in losses—these are emotions driving the trade, not the mind. Over the years, I have focused on just one thing: overcoming human weaknesses. I give up opportunities I don’t understand, only picking those with high certainty, neither rushing nor gambling.

What rank are you at now?
· Newbie Coin Watching: "Where is the next tenfold?"
· Advanced viewing mode: Find patterns to create strategies
· Experienced users focus on the overall trend of the account and do not get hung up on individual transactions.

Real experts focus on how long their accounts can last, not how much a certain coin has risen today.

Back in the day, the wave of making money through ETH relied on a saying translated by a predecessor: "Pay attention when strong things weaken, avoid weak things trying to show strength, and follow up after confirming the reversal." No guessing tops and bottoms, just follow the signals.

The last heartfelt sentence: Before opening a position, think first about "how not to lose," and then think about "how to earn." Wait for the signal to act, withdraw once you have made a profit, and don't be greedy. Trading is never about who runs faster, but about who lasts longer.

Oh my, this statement hit home. A few years ago, I was that "I've made a profit once" fool. Losing 50% means I need to make a 100% rise to recoup investment. This math problem is something I deal with every day now; it's not solving problems, it's dealing with debt. Really, living is harder than making money. Right now, I'm just watching how long my account can hold on. To be honest, it took me three years to figure out how to manage drawdowns. Before, I was just relying on luck and got hit hard. So now, when I see a big pump, I'm cautious; it's only when the market weakens that I pay serious attention. I’ve adopted a go-with-the-flow attitude. If I don’t understand something, I don’t act. I wait for signals before making a move. In the past, I chased trends and ended up with a heart attack. Now, I only go for high-certainty opportunities, which is much more reassuring. Your statement is spot on, but many people can’t change even after hearing it. I had to learn through repeated failures myself.

It's too heart-wrenching to say, I'm the kind of person who made money once and then got slapped in the face. Now I understand that surviving is much harder than making quick money.

This guy really said it... he was just short of hitting me on the head in public. Before, he was the type to make a quick profit and boast everywhere, but a pullback sent him back to square one. Now I understand, staying alive is much harder than making money. --- I have deep experience with controlling drawdowns. I once lost 50%, so I needed to make 100% to recoup investment. During that time, I really felt hopeless. Now, I'd rather earn less, but I have to protect my account. --- Human nature is too painful to poke at. I'm just afraid of missing out, wanting to buy the dip of coins I don't understand, and ended up getting trapped. Now I've learned to keep my mouth shut and only act when the signals come. --- "Whoever lives longer wins," this saying needs to be tattooed on my brain. I've been in this circle for too long, seen too many accounts go to zero. --- Not guessing tops and bottoms but only following signals sounds easy, but is hard to do. However, I have indeed seen people who persist in doing this and they're doing quite well. --- What I fear the most is not being able to admit that the system has issues, blaming the market every day, when in fact, the one to blame is my own greed. --- The division of Newbie, Intermediate, and Crypto Veterans is brilliant. I'm still in the intermediate stage watching the patterns, far from truly focusing on my account.

Wow, this sentence hit hard. I was that "I've made money once" fool last year, and as a result, I went all in and lost everything.
