I believe that the listing of the DOGE ETF (code DOJE) is highly likely to bring a wave of emotional momentum in the short term. After all, this is the first Dogecoin ETF in the United States, and its symbolic significance outweighs its practical implications—it means that MEME coins have officially been "certified" by traditional finance.
In the short term, it may attract some funds that were originally not directly buying coins but are willing to enter the market through ETFs, especially institutions and novice users. However, it is also important to be aware of the possibility of "good news being fully priced in". If the trading volume is average after the listing, there may also be a pullback. After DOGE takes the lead, I think the next most likely candidate is SHIB - a large community, high market value, and strong topics; it is no longer just a "pure meme."
Additionally, coins like PEPE and FLOKI, which have strong communities and cultural resonance, may gradually attract institutional interest. However, the prerequisite is that they need to continue to expand their reach and have practical application scenarios (even if it's in the metaverse or NFTs); they cannot rely solely on memes to survive.

My own operations are cautious but I also don't miss opportunities:

· Short term: Take advantage of the pre-ETF listing hype to build positions in batches, but set stop-losses to prevent a sell-off after the positive news materializes.
· Mid-line: Hold the bottom position and don’t easily exit; DOGE, as the "King of Memes", still has long-term narrative space (such as integration with X payments and Musk continuing to promote it).
· Tip: I usually set price alerts on Gate for when it breaks through key resistance levels (like 0.15U) to chase a bit, and reduce my position when it falls below support (like 0.12U). Don't be greedy; meme coins are too volatile, and if you make a profit, know when to take it!
