The probability of the Federal Reserve lowering interest rates by 25 basis points in May has risen to 54.6%.

On April 7, according to CME’s “Federal Reserve Watch” data, the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in May is 54.6%, while the probability of maintaining the current rate is 45.4%.
