CryptoWorld News reports that on April 26th local time, U.S. President Trump and UK Prime Minister Stamer had a phone call to discuss the current Middle East situation and emphasized the "urgent need to restore shipping through the Strait of Hormuz." The UK side stated that the weeks-long blockade has resulted in a large number of crew members being stranded in the Gulf region. Stamer warned that this will have "serious consequences" for the global economy and the living costs of the British people. Iran also warned on the same day that the waterway "will not return to its previous state under any circumstances."
