Recently, I truly realized that "floating losses are noisier than floating gains"… Clearly, during the day, watching the market is just so-so, but at night lying down, my mind automatically starts reviewing: Was my entry too hasty, the gas fee just happened to be abnormal, and when I shook the packing rhythm, I got slipped and filled completely. When I have floating gains, I’m not that excited, thinking "Anyway, I haven't taken the profit," but floating losses make me want to fix them constantly, like there's smoke in the house and I can't sleep until I find it.
In the group these days, there's been a debate again about whether extreme funding rates mean a reversal or just more bubble squeezing. Honestly, I don’t know either, I just instinctively want to stop when I see the rate soaring ridiculously. I admit, I also envy those who can hold on and still sleep soundly; maybe their stop-loss is written in code, while mine is written in my mood… For now, that’s it. I’ll try not to stare at the browser tonight.
