Glass deep-processing companies' order days continue to rise, still far below the same period in previous years
Downstream demand remains in a weak recovery trend. As of March 31, the average order days for deep-processed glass sample companies nationwide increased by 12.3% to 6.86 days, significantly below the same period in previous years, with a year-on-year decrease of 16.3%. Raw sheet inventory decreased by 0.96% to 7.9 days, down 19.41% year-on-year. The restart speed of deep-processing glass companies is slow, with overall operating rates at low levels. New order intake is far below expectations, and there are large differences among companies. Orders in the southern region have higher executable days than in the northern market, mostly around 7-15 days, while in the northern region, orders are mostly around 5-10 days.
