CoinWorld News reports that on April 11, Anthropic’s AI product Claude officially launched a beta version of the Word document plugin. Users can draft, edit, and modify documents directly in the sidebar, and Claude will automatically preserve the original formatting. All changes are presented in “Track Changes” mode, making them easier to review and revert. Of note, Claude for Word can share context with Claude for Excel and Claude for PowerPoint, enabling cross-document collaboration—users can handle multiple files without switching sessions. This feature is currently available to users on the Team and Enterprise plans.
