Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on the evening of the 12th that, in recent days, “several” senior Iranian nuclear scientists had been attacked, and Israel would “launch an attack on Iran” “with unprecedented force.” Netanyahu said that Israel was “crushing” Iran’s regime, while also “striking and crushing” its “proxy in Lebanon,” Hezbollah. He said Israel has the strength to handle Iran, the “greatest threat to Israel’s survival.” Netanyahu said that he has led multiple public and covert operations against Iran, with the aim of preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. He said that the military strikes previously carried out against Iran had greatly weakened Iran’s capabilities. Among them, the Israeli military launched a “deadly attack” last June on senior scientists involved in Iran’s nuclear program, and “recently attacked several (senior Iranian scientists).” (CCTV News)
