The Iranian delegation, consisting of 71 people, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Iraqji, arrived in Pakistan’s capital this morning to hold direct negotiations with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner.

This is the first direct meeting between the two countries since the war began on February 28. Bitcoin is currently trading at $72,798, up 8.62% over the week.

Iran vs. the United States: What Both Sides Are Demanding
The differing positions at the start of these talks remain very far apart. The Iranian proposal of ten points calls for Iranian oversight of the Strait of Hormuz, easing sanctions, paying war reparations, releasing frozen assets, and halting Israeli operations in Lebanon.

The American counter-proposal of 15 points is based on one non-negotiable matter: not possessing nuclear weapons.
