The Middle East conflict has caused 4.1 million people from Iran and other countries to be displaced.

On the 12th local time, UN Secretary-General spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated at the daily press briefing that, according to the latest data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, since the recent escalation of the Middle East situation, over 4.1 million people have been displaced within Iran, Lebanon, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and another 117k have fled to other countries seeking asylum. Dujarric said that currently, the Middle East is one of the regions with the most urgent humanitarian needs worldwide, and the recent escalation of conflict has not only worsened the suffering of civilians but also caused further damage to the already fragile local infrastructure.
