Investor Question:

You must seek new breakthroughs. As a technology company, you have many opportunities—an aging population, a large market—how will you break through?

Secretary of the Board’s Answer ( Mindray Medical SZ300760 ):

Hello, thank you for your attention. As society ages, the demand for chronic disease management is increasingly urgent, and the public’s need for life information and support products has extended from purely treatment-related to long-term disease management and proactive health maintenance. We are developing a new chronic disease management solution based on wearable sensors and AI diagnosis and early warning algorithms, aiming to achieve continuous, unobtrusive monitoring of patients’ vital signs, filling the “data vacuum” shortcoming in traditional diagnosis and treatment. Using high-quality data obtained from wearable devices, combined with other multimodal clinical data, and through AI algorithms, we realize efficient diagnosis, risk analysis, and early warning. This solution aims to connect hospital, primary care, and home, achieving continuous, integrated management. Wearable devices and sensors act as data extensions, real-time syncing patients’ daily physiological data from home to primary care doctors and hospital expert platforms, building a continuous, dynamic personal health database. Based on this, integrating AI solutions enables intelligent analysis of massive data, achieving disease risk early warning, personalized intervention guidance, and efficacy evaluation, shifting healthcare from passive, fragmented to proactive, full-process management. The core advantage of this plan is extending our comprehensive hospital monitoring solutions—based on Mindray—to primary care and home settings, creating a complete patient journey-centered solution. This not only improves patient compliance and quality of life, reduces family caregiving pressure, but also optimizes medical resource allocation, forming a key part of a patient-centered smart healthcare closed loop. Through innovative product design, we have developed highly integrated transfer and wearable monitoring solutions, expanding monitoring capabilities from hospital departments to pre-hospital and home care scenarios. Additionally, in ventilator products, we are exploring applications in respiratory rehabilitation and home care, expanding our business across the entire respiratory therapy field. Thank you.
