ME News, April 5 (UTC+8): The Central Anti-Corruption Coordination Group’s Office for International Fugitive Recovery and Cross-Border Corruption Governance held a meeting to launch the “Tianwang 2026” campaign. The National Supervisory Commission will take the lead in carrying out a special operation for overseas pursuit, recovery, and loss mitigation involving duty-related crimes. The Ministry of Public Security will carry out a “Fox Hunt” special operation. The People’s Bank of China, together with the Ministry of Public Security, will carry out a special campaign to prevent and crack down on the transfer of stolen funds abroad using offshore companies and underground banks. The Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, together with the Ministry of Public Security and the National Immigration Administration, will focus on doing a good job in managing the posts of “naked officials” and on addressing violations by public officials involving improper outbound travel (overseas) for private reasons.
