ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), according to GoPlus warning, a community user reported that when searching for “Pancakeswap” on Google, the top advertisement results redirect to a phishing website under the google.com domain. GoPlus investigation found that attackers use hosting platforms like Google Sites to deploy phishing websites and promote the phishing links at the top through search engine ads. Users visiting malicious sites may relax their vigilance upon seeing the google.com top-level domain in the address bar, thus falling into a phishing trap. GoPlus recommends users to identify the authenticity of ad labels and URLs, verify through official documentation or social media channels, remember the “Four No’s” principle: do not click on unfamiliar links, do not install unknown software, do not sign unknown transactions, and do not transfer funds to unverified addresses. Additionally, install security plugins to intercept phishing links and risky transactions in real time. (Source: PANews)
