BlackRock CEO warns: Under the impact of AI, recent American graduates may face the highest unemployment rate in history

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink recently warned that recent American college graduates seeking white-collar jobs should not have high expectations because “artificial intelligence will disrupt many of these types of jobs.” He stated that when this year’s college graduates enter the workforce, “even if there is no recession, we may see the highest unemployment rates among them.” Fink pointed out that artificial intelligence will create jobs in technical fields, which is partly driven by the expansion of AI infrastructure (such as data centers), but the labor market is not yet prepared.
