The digitalization coverage rate of large-scale industrial enterprises in Jiaxing has reached 92.27% at version 2.0 and above, ranking first in the province.

Zhejiang Daily reported on April 6 that, recently, a reporter visited Tongxiang City Zhejiang Tonghui Textile Co., Ltd. and saw that the fully automatic dye and chemical material delivery system worked in coordinated operation with intelligent robots. Chen Yibo, deputy dean of the company’s Green Dyeing and Finishing Technology Research Institute, said that the company has cumulatively invested more than 20 million yuan to build a digital system covering “weaving, dyeing, finishing, and sales,” driving a 70% improvement in data transmission efficiency and shortening the decision-making cycle by 50%.

As a pilot city for new technological transformation in the manufacturing industry, Jiaxing, on the basis of achieving full coverage of industrial digitization 1.0 for enterprises above the designated size, continues to promote the cultivation of smart factories and industry transformation and upgrade. At present, the coverage rate of digitalization levels of 2.0 and above among industrial enterprises above the designated size across the whole city is 92.27%, ranking first in the province.

What supports the transformation is world-class computing power infrastructure. It is reported that Jiaxing has already built the province’s first ten-thousand-card computing power cluster, and its operational scale accounts for more than half of the province. It has recently been selected for the first batch of national “millisecond computing-use” special action initiatives. This enables on-demand allocation of computing power and efficient response.

Since Jiaxing launched the “two transformations” upgrade in 2022 with integrated advancement of digitization and greening as the core, it has cumulatively implemented 6,472 projects. The 14 digitalization level indicators are all higher than the provincial average, including an 81.96% numerical control rate for industrial equipment and an 82.65% numerical control rate for key processes, both ranking first in the province. Places such as Haining and Xiuzhou improve design and marketing effectiveness through digital design, AI livestreaming studios, and VR exhibition halls.
