The online platform for customs statistics data shows that China’s polysilicon imports in January 2026 were 1,046.76 tons, a decrease of 44.11% month-on-month and a decline of 54.79% year-on-year. In February 2026, China’s polysilicon imports were 1,622.13 tons, up 54.97% month-on-month but down 48.14% year-on-year. The total polysilicon imports for January to February 2026 amounted to 2,668.89 tons, compared to 5,443.66 tons in the same period last year. According to Mysteel data, China’s polysilicon production in January was 93,500 tons, down 17.26% month-on-month and 0.53% year-on-year. In February 2026, polysilicon production by Chinese companies was 82,000 tons, a decrease of 12.3% month-on-month and 8.48% year-on-year.
