China's Special Envoy on Middle East Issues Holds Briefing on Recent Middle East Situation

People’s Financial News, March 23 — China’s Special Envoy for Middle East Issues, Zhai Jun, held a briefing in Beijing this afternoon (March 23), introducing the recent situation in the Middle East. Recently, China’s Special Envoy for Middle East Issues, Zhai Jun, traveled to multiple Middle Eastern countries, meeting with foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Egypt, as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Arab League Secretary-General. He also had a phone call with Qatar’s Deputy Foreign Minister to discuss the regional situation in depth, contributing to de-escalation and peace efforts. (CCTV News)
