2-Year Treasury Yield Surges After "Weak" Auction

According to Bank of Montreal, on Tuesday, the 2-year U.S. Treasury yield surged after a “weak” auction. The institution stated that non-dealer bids were below average.

The yield rose more than 11 basis points to 3.944%. Additionally, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield increased over 8 basis points to 4.42%.
