WHO: Over 2,000 Deaths from Attacks on Health Facilities Since Sudan Conflict

On the evening of March 21 local time, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated that since the outbreak of armed conflict in Sudan, WHO has recorded 213 attacks on healthcare facilities, resulting in 2,036 deaths. Tedros posted on social media that healthcare facilities should not become targets of attack by conflicting parties, and he emphasized that the best medicine is peace. (CCTV News)
