Baidu Advances Large Model Integration with Search and Recommendation Business; He Jingzhou Appointed as Head of Baidu App R&D Center Organization

Sina Tech reported on the afternoon of March 18th that Sina Tech has learned that Baidu has appointed He Jingzhou, formerly of the Large Model Algorithm Department, to rotate from the Basic Model Development Unit (BMU) to the Mobile Ecosystem Business Group (MEG), serving as the organizational leader of the Baidu App Development Center, reporting to Luo Rong. The former leader, Zhao Shiqi, has resigned due to personal reasons.

According to sources, He Jingzhou is a technically and managerially skilled talent cultivated by Baidu, with extensive experience in large model algorithms. This rotation will further promote the integration of large models with search and recommendation businesses, strengthen the application of cutting-edge technologies like large models in core scenarios such as search and recommendations, and accelerate product iteration speed and quality. It aims to help products better adapt to technological generational changes and further enhance user experience.

Previously, Baidu MEG underwent organizational restructuring, merging all search businesses on PC and mobile platforms, with Li Xiaowan responsible for user content and operation.
