Caixin March 17, Alibaba released the enterprise-level AI work platform application “WuKong,” positioned as a unified outlet for Alibaba’s AI capabilities in enterprise work scenarios, developed by the DingTalk team. Invited testing begins today.

“Previously, people used DingTalk to work; in the future, AI will use DingTalk to work,” said DingTalk CEO Chen Hang at the launch event. WuKong continues the product concept of the “Lobster” intelligent agent, emphasizing safe and controllable execution capabilities in the physical world. After users describe their goals in natural language, WuKong can automatically break down the process and attempt to complete the tasks, while providing necessary human confirmation during execution. As shown at the launch event, WuKong can open local folders, edit local documents, call desktop applications, process AI transcription content, update AI spreadsheet data, fill out approval forms, and more.
