The number of Chinese tourists entering South Korea during the Spring Festival is expected to increase by 44%

The Korean Ministry of Culture stated on Wednesday that during this year’s Lunar New Year holiday, up to 190,000 Chinese tourists are expected to enter the country. This figure represents a 44% increase compared to Chinese tourists visiting Korea during last year’s Lunar New Year. The number of Chinese tourists entering in January increased by over 20% year-on-year. (Sina Finance)
