It is reported that Farcaster co-founder Dan Romero recently announced a major personnel change—Neynar will officially acquire and take over the full operations of Farcaster. In the coming weeks, Farcaster's protocol smart contracts, complete codebase, official client applications, and core components such as Clanker will be gradually transferred to the Neynar team.

After the transfer is completed, Neynar will assume a series of key responsibilities: including governance decisions at the protocol level, communication and collaboration with the developer community, and daily maintenance of the underlying infrastructure. This means that Neynar will upgrade from an infrastructure provider to the core operator of the Farcaster ecosystem, and this transition also indicates that the Farcaster social network may face a new round of strategic development adjustments.

Neynar directly takes over, now Farcaster is about to change the game --- Wait, upgrading directly from the infrastructure provider to the core operator? That's a pretty big step --- Feels like another story of a social network being consolidated by capital, not sure if the user experience will suffer --- The codebase and client have all been transferred, this is a complete overhaul --- Can Farcaster survive? Will this restructuring really save it --- A bit worried, can Neynar hold this ecosystem?

Oh no, Neynar took over directly? This means Farcaster is really about to change the game --- It seems Dan Romero is truly exhausted, and has decided to hand over everything --- Wait, the core code has been transferred, isn't this a de facto takeover --- From infrastructure provider to operator, Neynar's upgrade is quite aggressive --- I'm just wondering if there will be big moves next, or if it will end up in chaos again --- Clanker has already been given, it looks like this is a complete handover --- To put it simply, Neynar is risking everything, and their determination is really strong --- What will the new governance decisions look like? Feels a bit unstable --- The timing... isn't very good, changing leadership during a bull market --- The developer community might get restless, I wonder if Neynar can handle it

Wow, did Neynar take over directly? Is this going to completely change the rhythm of Farcaster? Neynar has upgraded from tool person to CEO, this transition is a bit intense. Wait, does this mean Farcaster is still decentralized? Things are starting to feel a bit off. Dan Romero, what are you trying to do? Why are you handing over the core directly? I've long suspected there were issues with Farcaster, and now it's increasingly resembling Web2 tactics. After this decision, will the ecosystem split apart? Let's wait and see. Clanker is also going to be handed over? That definitely means changing the rules.
