Recently looked at the market trends of many altcoins and wanted to share an idea. In this recent decline, a large number of small coins have already been cut by over 90%, lying at the bottom area. Many people see these prices and think there are great opportunities to go long, but my judgment is the opposite—risk is actually greater. Why? Because you have no idea which one will suddenly surge, and if you step on a project that blows up, the loss could be catastrophic.

On the other hand, there are coins that are rising every day, and that’s where the opportunity lies. A rise is inevitably followed by a pullback—that’s the iron law of the market. My approach is to act at this point—wait for the coin price to stagnate and trading volume to dwindle, then use 1x leverage to short, opening only one-tenth of the position for each coin. No stop-loss? Correct, because a small position itself is my stop-loss.

I also participate in mainstream coins, but with 3 to 5x leverage. These assets have high liquidity and relatively controllable risk. As for those alpha sectors controlled heavily by whales, with sky-high funding rates, they’re not worth touching.

I only seek stability, shorter compound interest cycles, and lighter positions. Survival is the first principle of this game. The market moves every day, and the key is to find a rhythm that suits you, rather than greedily betting on uncertain things.

Small position stop-loss is indeed a clever move, but it really depends on whether the trader's discipline is strong enough... Otherwise, it's still easy to be shaken out.

I agree, I'm also using this logic. The key is to stay alive and not be wiped out in one wave.

Daring to say that risks are controllable without setting stop-losses? I really don't understand that logic...

I'm convinced by this guy's logic—he's bullish on the top but not on the bottom. Truly one of the few clear-headed people.

Wow, I need to chew on this logic... Small-cap coins definitely have traps at the bottom, but your short-selling idea is also quite stimulating.
