Many content creators in the crypto community are now facing a dilemma of choice. On one side is the practical demand of platform traffic algorithms—long-form in-depth articles are more likely to gain exposure and recognition; on the other side is the impulse to stay true to oneself—continuing to publish those immediate, fragmented, and authentic opinions. How to find a balance between gaining popularity and staying true to one's principles has become an unavoidable topic for many KOLs. Some choose to compromise, while others persist. The existence of this contradiction itself reflects the rapid evolution of the entire community ecosystem.

Basically, it's just to transform oneself into a "decent person" for the sake of traffic. What was the point of genuine sincerity then?

To be honest, some big influencers have already sold out. Stop pretending to be pure, haha.

To be honest, I find that most people have already chosen to compromise, and there is no real balance point. Instead of fussing, better to ask yourself directly: are you doing this for followers or to speak the truth? Algorithms are like poison; once you take it, there's no turning back. This kind of dilemma should have been seen through long ago; there's nothing new. Are long articles really in-depth? I doubt it, most are just filler. Some KOLs still pretend to be pure, but they've actually been tamed by traffic. Fragmented opinions are actually more sincere, but unfortunately no one reads them. Fewer and fewer people persist, and this is the root cause of the ecosystem's deterioration.

Honestly, most people have already compromised; they just don't want to admit it. --- Algorithms are such a pain, but it's nobody's fault. --- Compared to balance, I actually prefer creators who don't care at all. --- Sticking to your principles? Sounds good, but you need fans first, haha. --- Compromise or persistence, as long as someone buys it, that's fine. --- Really, more and more KOLs are starting to write "in-depth analysis," but it's all nonsense. --- I just want to see fragmented opinions; who the hell reads long articles? --- This is the tragedy of Web3, everything bows to traffic.

theoretically speaking, this whole depth vs. authenticity trade-off reminds me of recursive SNARKs—you're basically trying to verify two competing states simultaneously, except one collapses the moment you pick it lmao
