Some industry insiders have summarized the three most influential Crypto VCs from their perspective. The third place goes to Dan Robinson of Paradigm, whose value lies not only in his investment perspective but also in his technical contributions—co-creator of Uniswap V3 and an early participant in Flashbots. Because of this dual identity, many new projects seek to gain Dan's technical guidance and resource support through the Paradigm platform.
In second place is Chris Dixon of a16z, who can be considered a pioneer in this field. As early as 2013, he led the Series B funding of Coinbase, at a time when most traditional VCs were still on the sidelines. He had already made a concrete bet on the future of this industry. Since then, his promotion and layout in the Crypto ecosystem have never stopped.

Dan Robinson only third? The combination of Uniswap V3 and Flashbots still isn't enough to beat
Chris Dixon is indeed impressive, going all in back in 2013. Who would have thought back then... But on the other hand, Dan's technical talent is also not to be underestimated. Why does it feel like his ranking is a bit conservative?
Both investment vision and technical contribution are highly sought after, and project teams all want to ride along
Dixon's strategic layout is indeed deep, but Dan's protocol design ability also has a significant influence in the ecosystem
Who is number one? Curiosity is piqued

Dan Robinson's moves are truly top-notch, able to invest and write code—this is what real VC is all about.
Chris Dixon had already made the right bet; the Coinbase investment in 2013 now looks like a stroke of genius.
But who is number one? That's the key question.
Dan's work on Uniswap V3 is indeed impressive; no wonder projects want to latch onto him.
It feels like Paradigm's team still packs a punch.
Early entry really pays off, just look at Dixon.
Dan's contribution to Flashbots is probably underestimated; these are the true builders.

Dan Robinson is truly impressive—he can code and discuss investments, unlike some VCs who just talk big.

ngl, the conflation of technical primitives with curatorial gatekeeping here feels reductive... Dan's dual positioning is fascinating but isn't this just another manifestation of venture capital's aesthetic colonization of the blockchain space?

Oh my god, Dan Robinson is truly a genius. I'm still studying the design approach of Uniswap V3... But speaking of which, Chris Dixon's move was really brilliant. He went all in on Coinbase in 2013, who dared back then?

Dan Robinson is indeed impressive, excelling in both technology and investment.
Chris Dixon's vision is truly exceptional; he dared to go all-in in 2013. No one else has such foresight.
By the way, who is ranked first? The suspense is here.
Paradigm is really good at selecting people; Dan's technical background can genuinely help projects solve real problems.
a16z has been active in crypto for so many years; not all VCs have this kind of patience.

Dan Robinson is truly amazing—both investing and coding. The design approach of Uniswap V3 directly changed the entire DEX landscape, no wonder everyone wants to find him.
