#稳定币发行与类型 Recently, I saw that traditional financial giants like JPMorgan Chase and EquiLend are working on stablecoins and tokenized assets, and I was a bit confused? Me too, but I gradually understood some things 😅

In simple terms, what they are doing is moving real-world money (bank deposits, assets) onto the blockchain, using stablecoins—"tokens pegged to fiat currency"—as a bridge. JPMorgan Chase's JPM Coin is an example—it's backed by real US dollar deposits but can be quickly transferred on the Base chain for collateral and settlement. EquiLend aims to connect the traditional financial sector's $40 trillion asset pool with the crypto market, which sounds like a big move.

What does this mean for us newcomers? My understanding is: stablecoins might become the "main currency" for on-chain transactions, just like fiat currency in the real world. I used to be confused about what stablecoins are and their purpose, but now it’s much clearer—they are the key to bridging traditional finance and the crypto world.

But I also have questions: if traditional giants are getting involved, where do opportunities for small retail investors like us come in? Or is it actually less risky because there's backing from the established players? Can some experts explain?
