By the end of 2025, the crypto market witnessed an epic wealth transfer. A seemingly casual Chinese blessing phrase sparked the creation of a meme coin with a market cap surpassing $500 million within just 72 hours, attracting investors worldwide.

Numbers speak the loudest. Someone invested an initial amount of 5 BNB (about $5756) and turned it into $1.6 million in gains, with a return of nearly 300 times; another investor put in $3500, and three days later, their account balance skyrocketed to $7.9 million. On-chain data is even more astonishing—over 100,000 traders participated in this meme coin frenzy on the BNB chain, with approximately 70% of addresses successfully cashing out. This is not a fabricated story; these are real transaction records on the blockchain.

The most surreal scene is the "survival instinct" of foreign netizens. Suddenly, a flood of "how to buy" posts appeared on social media, accompanied by crooked Chinese notes just to correctly input that string of token addresses. Some even self-studied Chinese characters overnight, simply because the surge of this meme coin was too outrageous. Veteran crypto insiders joked: "This is the strongest educational force in the crypto world—using wealth freedom to force foreigners to learn Chinese."

Exchanges also keenly sensed this trend. A major exchange quickly launched a platform to incorporate the chaotic meme coin issuance into its official system for regulation. Within the first hour of launch, 635 new tokens emerged, with the first token's market cap approaching $170 million. This move was very clever—by combining "smart contracts + sectors + topics," the exchange transformed from an ecosystem participant into a cultural producer, gaining the narrative power over the meme coin wave.

Of course, there is no free lunch in the world. Meme coin prices are extremely volatile, and the risks are equally high, with the constant possibility of complete loss of invested capital. Behind this wealth frenzy, countless stories unfold—some people make a fortune, while others lose everything. Rational judgment and cautious action are always the unbreakable rules of this market.

300x returns? Ha, those are just survivor bias stories. No one mentions how the 70% who made money eventually lost it all.

300x return? I'm thinking how many people would have to lose everything to get that number.

300 times? I feel like this is just a survivor bias story. Out of 100,000 people, how many directly cut their losses?
