Explosive news has hit the crypto community again—a well-known project team has recently undergone a major shake-up.

According to reliable sources, a company under Huang Licheng recently carried out a round of layoffs. The compensation package is quite Web3 in style: five months’ base salary, plus one MAYC (Mutant Ape Yacht Club) NFT. Based on the current floor price of $2,500, the average severance package per person is around $30,000. This “cash + digital asset” combo definitely has some industry flair.

Interestingly, the market started to rebound yesterday, with ETH leading the charge. For players with heavy positions, this wave of recovery came just in time—it should help patch up some of the wounds from previous liquidations.

That said, no matter how much money you have in this market, playing too hard with leverage always comes with a price. This incident serves as a reminder for the whole industry: don’t forget about risk management during the bull market frenzy.

Layoffs with MAYC? These days, even unemployment requires an NFT ceremony, it's amazing.

Laying off employees and giving out MAYC? This move is really outrageous. Who would have thought of paying salaries with NFTs?

Laying off employees but still issuing MAYC, that's quite a move. But whether holding an NFT can pay your rent is another story.

Layoffs come with a MAYC? Is this move really clever, or do you have to lose money just to get out?

Laying off employees and giving away MAYC—this move is truly wild... By the way, the floor price is $2,500, wouldn't it be more comfortable to just issue stablecoins directly?

They can still issue NFTs after layoffs—this move is really something else. Truly a Web3 special package, haha.

Laying off employees to compensate MAYC, this tactic is truly ruthless.

Wait, I need to verify this compensation data... A MAYC floor price of $2,500 plus five months’ salary, that’s definitely an interesting combination, but the key question is whether the liquidity of that NFT can be guaranteed. What does the on-chain data show?

They’re laying people off but still giving out MAYC—this move is wild... Bros can even trade crypto with their severance pay.
