Opening a stock account for a newborn? Waking up at 18 as a millionaire?

It sounds like a sci-fi plot, but this actually happened in the US. On December 2, a policy was announced to create exclusive accounts for minors, and children born between 2025 and 2028 will directly receive a $1,000 starter fund from the Treasury.

Even more astonishing—the founder of Dell invested $6.25 billion that very day, setting up accounts for 25 million American kids. This move clearly aims to kick off "financial literacy" from infancy.

While traditional finance is racing ahead, the crypto world isn't sitting idle either. The founder of a leading exchange recently launched a similar product specifically for kids aged 5 to 17. The logic is simple: parents open a main account for supervision, kids use a separate app to receive money and monitor returns, but they can't freely buy or sell, nor can they transfer coins on-chain.

This design is actually pretty smart—it's not about teaching kids to speculate on crypto, but about making digital assets as "normal as a bank card" from an early age. Just like you used to save your New Year's money as a kid, kids today might be saving crypto assets.

Simply put, whether it's traditional brokerages or crypto platforms, everyone is competing for the same thing: making "asset allocation" common knowledge for the next generation, instead of waiting until adulthood to frantically learn about compound interest and risk hedging.

It's just that now, the starting line has already moved up to the delivery room door.

Manipulating the growth cycle of the next generation of retail investors, this is the real long-termism.

$6.25 billion to help kids open accounts? This is what true long-term optimism looks like. I’ve always said, the future belongs to digital assets.

The competition has started all the way from the delivery room, it's really overwhelming. Kids are still drinking formula and already have to learn about compound interest—it's honestly absurd.
