BlockBeats news, on July 29, according to Cointelegraph, Ethereum co-founder and Consensys CEO Joe Lubin is one of the strategists for SharpLink Gaming’s Ethereum treasury strategy. He hopes the company can accumulate Ethereum (ETH) as quickly as possible for its shareholders, marking the “battle horn” for companies competing to become the number one accumulator of ETH. Joe Lubin stated: “We believe that on a per-share (fully diluted) basis, our accumulation of ETH will exceed that of any other Ethereum project, and will certainly be faster than Bitcoin-related projects. SharpLink is accumulating funds ‘daily’ through a market price issuance mechanism to expand its ETH reserves, while staking existing holdings to earn yields and achieve compound interest growth.” SharpLink is competing with BitMine for the title of “number one Ethereum treasury company.” According to data from StrategicETHReserve, BitMine is currently in the lead, holding 566,800 ETH, with a market capitalization of about $2.13 billion; while SharpLink ranks second with 360,800 ETH, with a market capitalization of about $1.35 billion.
