Polygon co-founder discusses whether to change the Token code from POL back to MATIC

According to Foresight News, Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, stated, “I keep hearing from the Polygon trading community that MATIC is a more powerful and familiar token, so there is a very practical question: should we ask the exchange to change the token code back to MATIC? My current position is that the user changes are too significant. We have migrated to POL, so we should stick with it. I am really curious about what the vast majority of users think, as similar feedback keeps coming up. Of course, there's no guarantee that the exchange will agree to the change.”
