Argentina Congress Report: President Milei's involvement in the Libra Token case may constitute misconduct.

Golden Finance reported that the Argentine House of Representatives Investigation Committee released the final report on the collapse of Libra, indicating that President Javier Milei provided “key collaboration” for the project and suggested that Congress assess whether there was any misconduct involved. The report stated that Milei had previously posted support for Libra, after which the project party's associated Wallets cashed out 107 million USD, resulting in losses for 114,410 Wallets. The committee linked this incident to projects such as KIP Protocol, pointing out the repeated pattern of “the fund pool being drained after presidential endorsement,” implying government evasion of regulation. Milei denied the allegations and disbanded the internal investigation team in May. He is currently under judicial investigation alongside the founder of Libra, while also facing a class action lawsuit.
