Jin10 data reported on September 17, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the MacBook will be equipped with a touch panel for the first time, further blurring the lines with the iPad. This change may reflect Apple's years of observing iPad user behavior and finding that touch operations can improve productivity and user experience in certain user scenarios. 1. The OLED MacBook Pro expected to be mass-produced by the end of 2026 will be equipped with a touch panel (using on-cell touch technology). 2. The low-cost MacBook equipped with iPhone processors expected to be mass-produced in Q4 2025 will not be equipped with a touch panel. The specifications for the second generation (expected to be mass-produced in 2027) are still under discussion, with the possibility of supporting touch functionality.
