According to Gate.io News bot, Wu Shuo reported that Franklin Templeton has received approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to launch the Franklin on-chain US Dollar Short-Term Money Market Fund. This is Singapore’s first tokenized fund product aimed at retail investors.
The fund is issued through Franklin Templeton’s blockchain transfer platform, with a minimum investment amount of $20 for investors. The current cryptocurrency adoption rate in Singapore has reached 11.05%, and a regulatory framework for digital assets has been established, with several traditional financial institutions advancing tokenization product businesses in this market.
