Initial Listings: Gate Launches XPT and XPD Perpetual Contracts in the Metals Section, Also Available on Gate Perp DEX

Gate's Metals Section officially launched XPT and XPD perpetual contracts (USDT-M) for live trading on January 23, 2026. The contracts support 1 – 10x leverage for both long and short positions, with leverage selectable at the time of placing the order. They are also being launched simultaneously on Gate Perp DEX.

XPTUSDT Perpetual Contract tracks the price of platinum, quoted in USD, with each contract representing 1 troy ounce of platinum.

Users are advised to closely monitor the activity of external reference markets and set appropriate take-profit and stop-loss orders to mitigate risks arising from liquidity changes and price volatility.
