To provide more resilient trading strategy tools and expand our derivative products, Gate will launch a brand-new product—Smart Leverage—at 07:00 (UTC) on 30, December 2025.
Smart Leverage is a structured product that allows users to engage in leveraged trading without liquidation risk during the holding period. It is designed to help traders better execute trend-following strategies in highly volatile markets, while avoiding unexpected position losses caused by short-term price spikes.

Core Advantages

• No Forced Liquidation During Holding Period: Unlike traditional perpetual futures, Smart Leverage does not trigger forced liquidation from successful subscription until maturity settlement, regardless of how the underlying asset price fluctuates. Users need not worry about losing their positions due to short-term extreme volatility.
• High Leverage Capital Efficiency: Supports high leverage configurations to maximize capital efficiency. Returns are calculated based on the settlement price at maturity, ensuring users fully capture gains from market trends.
• Capped Risk Exposure: As a non-principal-protected structured product, Smart Leverage limits users' maximum potential loss to the principal per trade. There is no risk of additional losses or negative balance.
