Kentucky has passed a new law confirming the legality of digital asset payments and the operation of blockchain nodes.
Wu reported that the Governor of Kentucky has officially signed House Bill 701 (HB 701), which explicitly guarantees the rights of individuals to use digital Wallets and accept digital assets as a means of payment, and prohibits the imposition of additional taxes on digital asset transactions based on the payment method. At the same time, the bill confirms that the operation of Blockchain Nodes is legal, including activities such as connecting to Blockchain protocols, participating in protocol operations, and transmitting digital assets.
