I would like to share a few understandings about perpetual trading with everyone:
First, let's talk about direction. Bullish or bearish, it’s something we deal with every day, yet we still get it wrong! Why is that? You'd think guessing the heads or tails of a coin wouldn't be that inaccurate! So why do we often guess wrong when trading?
Because it has become attached!
Focusing on the surface while ignoring the essence!
Or maybe you see a little and ignore one side!
Seeing the short-term fluctuations or small cycle ups and downs, while ignoring the overall trend, leads to incorrect entry!
Secondly, it's about entering the market - the entry points, the entry prices, and the timing for entry! These are all factors that need to be considered carefully. Moreover, it's essential to have a trading strategy in place before entering the market: where to open a position, where to set a stop-loss, and where to set a take-profit! All of this should be planned in advance; execution is about carrying out the trading plan!
Finally, determine the trading cycle and the risks involved in advance, and implement risk control!
Once a key position is passed, this order will have no meaning to hold on to! These words are spoken in a certain macro environment and a certain period! Therefore, whatever market cycle you engage in, you must bear the risks brought by that cycle!
