Solana futures officially launched on CME today
On March 17th, Solana futures have officially launched on CME. Currently, CME offers two sizes of new contracts: a micro contract covering 25 SOL and a full-size contract covering 500 SOL. Giovanni Vicioso, Global Head of Cryptocurrency Products at CME Group, stated, ‘As Solana gradually becomes the preferred platform for developers and investors, these new futures contracts will provide a capital-efficient tool to support their investment and hedging strategies.’
