Just delved into Hooked Protocol (HOOK) and found it to be a pretty interesting project in the Web3 education space. I have some thoughts I want to share with everyone.
Basically, HOOK is a decentralized education platform on Web3, but it’s not just about theory. This project builds a bridge for converting fiat money into crypto, helping people access Web3 more easily. The cool part is that HOOK combines learning with earning through a Learn-to-Earn model, so users can learn while earning rewards.
The main product of HOOK is Wild Cash — a Quiz-to-Earn app that has reached over 2 million active users per month, especially popular in Indonesia and Brazil. Additionally, there’s Hooked Academy (a gamified Web3 learning platform) and Hooked Wallet (an integrated crypto wallet). HOOK’s operational model is quite diverse: Quiz-to-Earn, PoWT Mining Game, and Social Referral — people can earn rewards in many ways.
Looking at its history, HOOK has completed two funding rounds totaling $6 million, supported by major funds like Sequoia Capital and Multicoin Capital. The project was also once the 29th project on a major exchange, which indicates trust from investors.
Regarding tokenomics, HOOK has a total supply of 500 million tokens on BNB Chain. Distribution is quite reasonable: 20% Private Sale, 5% public sale, 25% community, 30% ecosystem/reserve, 20% development team. The HOOK token is used for governance (DAO voting) and paying transaction fees within the ecosystem.
HOOK’s development roadmap is quite ambitious — they plan to implement DAO, expand to other blockchains beyond BNB Chain, collaborate with global educational organizations, and aim for 10 million active users per month by the end of 2025. The HOOK ecosystem is gradually maturing with products targeting enterprises.
Overall, HOOK has great potential because Web3 education is a new field with significant growth prospects. But it’s also important to note that this market is becoming increasingly competitive, and the HOOK token price can be quite volatile. Currently, HOOK is trading at around $0.01 with a market cap of about $2.24M. If you’re interested, do thorough research before making any decisions.
