PG&E Approves Tesla Cybertruck For First-Of-Its-Kind Grid Program

PG&E has approved the Tesla Cybertruck for its residential Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) program in California, allowing customers to use Tesla’s Powershare technology to power homes during outages and sell electricity back to the grid. This pilot program is the state’s first AC-based vehicle-to-grid system, simplifying hardware and potentially accelerating EV adoption by treating them as flexible energy assets. PG&E (NYSE: PCG) stock shows a short-term bearish trend but intermediate strength, with upcoming earnings expected on April 23, 2026.
