Just spotted three sub-$3 stocks that caught my attention for potential double-digit moves heading into 2026. Not gonna sugarcoat it though - penny stocks are risky territory, but these three have actual business fundamentals backing them up, which is rare in this space.

First up is Ring Energy. This oil and gas play has been stuck sideways for over a year, trading at a forward P/E of just 4x. The valuation gap is wild - market cap sits around $350 million while the PV10 of their reserves is $1.65 billion. That's a massive disconnect. With oil gradually climbing past $83 per barrel and interest rate cuts expected over the next 12-18 months, we could see oil test $100 again. REI has shown solid production growth too, averaging 26% CAGR from 2018-2023. Free cash flow is positive, so they've got the flexibility to keep expanding.

Then there's Tilray Brands. Cannabis stock that's been quiet on the charts but the business momentum is actually there. Here's the real catalyst - cannabis reclassification to Schedule III in the US is coming, and Tilray just raised $250 million to capitalize on it. They're seeing 44% YoY growth in international cannabis, expanding into new markets. What's interesting is they've also diversified into craft beer - now the fifth-largest in the US. The combination of medicinal expansion plus the beverage business could drive solid growth.

Now, if you're looking at tech-driven upside, Bitfarms is the play. Bitcoin miner with aggressive expansion targets. Hash rate capacity is at 10.4EH/s now, targeting 21EH/s by end of year and 35EH/s by end of 2025. Stock already up 53% over the past year but still undervalued from here. Zero debt on the balance sheet and $124 million in liquidity gives them runway. Bitcoin's been consolidating around $60-70K range - once it breaks out, miners like BITF could see explosive moves. Current BTC price at $71.70K suggests we're close to that inflection point.

The common thread? All three have specific near-term catalysts and aren't just meme stocks. Oil prices, regulatory changes, and Bitcoin momentum are real drivers. That said, these are still speculative - do your own research before jumping in.
