The distribution of rapporteurs for the patent loss trial of the convicted military personnel has been announced. Bolsonaro will be reported by Carlos Vuyk de Aquino, Braga Netto will be handled by Flávio Marcus Lancia Barbosa, Augusto Heleno by Celso Luís Nazaré, Paulo Sérgio Nogueira by José Barroso Filho, and Almir Garnier by Verônica Sterman. Each case is individual; this is not a collective judgment.

What I found interesting is that Mauro Cid, who was a whistleblower and received only 2 years in an open regime, technically does not lose his rank due to dishonor. But President Maria Elizabeth made it clear that if the Military Public Prosecutor's Office files a representation for incompatibility, he could still lose it. In other words, even with an agreement, he is not 100% secure.

People waiting for a quick trial might want to give up. Maria Elizabeth said the most realistic scenario is after the October elections. It depends on the opinions of the rapporteurs and reviewers to schedule each session, and that will cause delays. The court has 15 ministers voting, (10 military and 5 civilian), so it’s not a quick decision at all.
