Huskeys Security Ltd. is an emerging edge security management-focused startup that today announced it has secured $8.0 million (about KRW 115 billion) in investment, officially moving into the market. Founded in 2025, Huskeys aims to address longstanding Web application security issues. The company said that existing technology can no longer keep up with the pace of a rapidly evolving modern environment, and therefore Huskeys offers a more connected and more automated solution.

Huskeys’ innovative platform is designed to overcome the limitations of traditional Web application firewalls. Today, a large share of network traffic comes from APIs and automated agents, making it increasingly difficult to distinguish secure traffic from malicious activity. Co-founder and CEO Itai Gafni said: “Security teams are struggling to tackle the inefficiencies of WAFs, which has become a barrier to business growth.”

The company’s edge security management platform is deployed on top of infrastructure, with easy installation and the ability to run across multi-cloud and multi-WAF environments. The platform uses an AI engine to abstract vendor-specific syntax and combines it with the context of the organization to enable enhanced AI traffic analysis. This achieves dual optimization of security protection and business performance.

Huskeys has partnered with multiple global companies, including TikTok Pte. Ltd., Merlin Entertainment Group, and Hugging Face Inc. The company gave examples showing that by resolving issues such as legitimate customers being blocked from making purchases due to aggressive WAF rules, it has successfully helped customers recover sales revenue.

This round of funding includes venture capital firms and individual investors such as 10D Ventures, toDay Ventures, and Merlin Ventures. Football star Mario Götze, NFL player Kelvin Becham, and Larry Fitzgerald, who will be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2026, also participated in this round of investment.
