Reuters Survey: UK inflation rate expected to fall to 2.8% in the next quarter

Golden Finance reports that on March 26, according to a Reuters survey: the UK inflation rate is expected to fall to 2.8% in the next quarter and remain at an average of 3.4% in the second half of 2026. Out of 50 economists, 28 (56%) believe the Bank of England will keep the benchmark interest rate at 3.75% until the end of the fourth quarter (compared to only 7% in the March 12 survey). (Jin10)
