NEW: Strategy is launching a dedicated Bitcoin Security Program, aiming to coordinate with global cyber, crypto, and Bitcoin experts to strengthen the network’s security, resilience, and trust.

The company is hiring a Director of Bitcoin Security to lead the effort, serving as the internal authority on protocol, cryptography, and custody, while acting as a key external liaison across the industry.

The role will shape Strategy’s Bitcoin security posture end to end, spanning threat modeling, key management, multisig custody design, and wallet architecture, with a focus on institutional-grade resilience and recoverability.

Strategy says the initiative will bring together exchanges, custodians, asset managers, service providers, and core developers to collaborate on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.

The program will also include internal education, executive advisory, and ongoing industry coordination, with regular meetings and published updates aimed at advancing Bitcoin security at scale.
