The Dubai Financial Services Authority has ordered the Nasdaq Dubai Exchange to temporarily close from March 2 to 3, 2026, in line with the measure to suspend trading for two days across the UAE capital markets, including the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and Dubai Financial Market (DFM). The Dubai Financial Services Authority and the UAE Capital Markets Authority stated that the trading suspension is due to their regulatory responsibilities and ongoing regional monitoring. Meanwhile, affected by the tense global geopolitical situation, the Qatar stock market opened lower, with its main index falling more than 3%.
