Sei ecosystem welcomes new progress in international cooperation. The Kingdom of Bhutan's Sovereign Wealth Fund, Druk Holding and Investments Ltd (DHI), has reached a strategic partnership with the Sei development team to jointly deploy and operate Sei blockchain validation nodes in Bhutan. This collaboration is led by DHI's innovation technology division, InnoTech, and is planned to officially launch node operations in 2026.
This is an important case of the Sei blockchain expanding into traditional financial institutions and national-level funds, and also marks the beginning of sovereign wealth funds paying attention to and participating in blockchain infrastructure construction. Through the deployment of validation nodes, Bhutan will directly participate in the security maintenance and ecological governance of the Sei network, further expanding Sei's global geographic distribution and node diversity. For Sei, this cooperation with national-level institutions helps enhance the network's credibility and compliance, creating conditions for the subsequent landing of ecological applications.
