Real-world treasure hunting just got a crypto twist 🦝 There's this new play-to-earn mechanic where you physically move around to collect digital rewards. The concept? Hunt down location-based items and stack OCTO tokens.

Basically combines Pokemon GO vibes with actual token incentives. You're out there exploring, hitting checkpoints, and earning while you move. Not a bad way to get some steps in and grow your bag at the same time.

Anyone else tried these location-based crypto games? The whole "move-to-earn" thing is getting interesting.

Another move-to-earn, can it make money? That's the key --- The pokemon go model has long been outdated, it all depends on whether the token can rise --- Treasure hunting + encryption, sounds good, but is anyone really playing it? --- Steps exchanged for coins, I just want to know what I can get out of it --- Is this OCTO thing reliable? I've never heard of it --- Outdoor sports + earning coins, this time there's something --- Another location-based game, the last one died --- Walking every day to earn coins, how long do I have to walk to recoup investment? --- Wow, this is just a new trick to harvest traffic --- Can move-to-earn really succeed? I'm a bit curious to try --- Games like this are bound to end up playing people for suckers.

Really, earning coins while walking, isn't this just a form of scam?

This move-to-earn is really a new trick to play people for suckers, but earning coins is whatever. --- I've played pokemon go before, and now you want to play people for suckers just by adding a token? --- Wait, can this game really generate coins or is it just another air project? --- Hey, I just want to ask, can the coins earned from running be exchanged for money, or is it just in-game currency again? --- Interesting, finally have a reason to go out, and by the way, see how much I can earn. --- I've given them all my location information, where are the coins, where are the people? --- Wow, isn't this just making us promoters? --- By the way, is this safe? It feels a bit sketchy. --- Actually, none of the move-to-earn series has been successful, don't get played for suckers. --- Hey, my fren has played something similar, said that when the coin price falls, it's a huge loss, be careful.

ngl, the incentive structure here is... mathematically questionable. you're basically getting paid in tokens whose velocity and sink mechanisms are probably undefined, which is just dilution with extra steps. seen this playbook before.

Every day with this move-to-earn, I haven't seen anyone actually make money, it's still full of traps.

move-to-earn sounds great, but I'm afraid it's just another Be Played for Suckers scheme.

Here we go again with move-to-earn... Last time I tried one, the Token fell faster than my steps, haha. We really need to look at the tokenomics, otherwise it's just trading legs for air.

nah, seen this exact ponzinomics loop before. location data + unsustainable token velocity = rug waiting to happen tbh

Just moving your legs can earn you coins, isn't that much better than working?
